We are guardians of the manor and we’re on a never-ending journey to painstakingly restore the manor to its former glory, whilst looking forward and embracing the modern.
The work is endless and as one might expect, we rely largely on goodwill and volunteers to help us along the way, for which we are eternally grateful. To help fund our restoration mission, we provide secluded luxury accommodation within the estate, in the form of Star Domes - a serene way to experience nature and experience the beautiful grounds.
In 2024, we’re looking to accommodate a limited number of exclusive events. We have 3 large reception rooms, capacity for up to 150 people, and accommodation for up to 20 people in 6 dedicated rooms.
The grounds are picturesque and boast approximately 7 acres of gardens and wild meadowed lawns. There's a lake with a picturesque woodland walk to one side and a smaller lake beyond, next to a cherry orchard.
Along the front of the manor is a lovely stone terrace with well stocked shrub borders, from which, there are fine views over the adjoining farmland towards the surrounding hills and countryside.
Upon you visit, we encourage you to simply absorb the tranquil setting and its beauty. It’s a world away from the busy, hectic life that we’re all used to.
Chapel Cleeve Manor stands as a testament to the grandeur of the past. Preserving such historical treasures requires a delicate balance between retaining their original charm and ensuring their structural integrity for future generations to admire and appreciate.
We take immense pride in our commitment to the meticulous restoration and preservation of this venerable estate, and encourage you to join us along the journey.
